Deputy Subedar Hariram Yadav was born on April 20, 1928 in the family of father Shri Ghisaram Yadav in Santor village of Buhana Tehsil of Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district. On 27 July, 1948 he was admitted in the 13th Battalion of the Indian Army's Kumaon Regiment.
On 18th November, 1962 our 114 soldiers were found and 1300 Chinese soldiers were killed in the battle of Rejangla under the leadership of Charlie Company Commander Major Shaitan Singh Bhati of 13 Kumaon Regiment. In this fierce battle, Deputy Subedar Hariram Yadav sacrificed his life heroically fighting to protect the nation's unity and integrity. Deputy Subhedar Hariram yadav was awarded post-partum Veer Chakra for his bravery, steadfast fighting spirit and supreme sacrifice.
In Indian military history, a battalion received a Paramveer Chakra, eight veer chakra, four army medals, and a mention in dispatch, the story of the bravery and sacrifice of the soldiers of Rejangla's battle. Hundreds of hundreds of years to the brave son of Mother India on his birth anniversary today Salute.
