అయోధ్యలో కొలువు తీరిన బాలరాముని ప్రతిమను

చెక్కిన మైసూరు శిల్పి 'అరుణ్ యోగిరాజ్' గారు కుటుంబ సభ్యులతో..

అయోధ్యలో బాలరాముడి ప్రాణ ప్రతిష్ట ఘనంగా జరిగింది. అయోధ్య రామ మందిరంలో ప్రతిష్టించే రాముని విగ్రహాన్ని ఎంపిక చేయడానికి శ్రీ రామ జన్మభూమి తీర్థ క్షేత్ర సమావేశంలో ఓటింగ్ నిర్వహించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. ప్రత్యేక శిల్పులు రూపొందించిన మూడు నమూనాల్లో ఒక విగ్రహాన్ని ఎంపిక చేశారు. ఇందులో అరుణ్ యోగిరాజ్ చెక్కిన బాలరాముని శ్యామవర్ణ విగ్రహం ఎక్కువ ఓట్లు పొందిన అత్యుత్తమ విగ్రహంగా నిలిచింది.

అరుణ్ యోగిరాజ్ కుటుంబం ఐదు తరాలుగా శిల్పులుగా ఉన్నారు. చిన్నప్పట్నించీ అరుణ్ శిల్పాలు చెక్కుతున్నప్పటికీ MBA చేసి ఒక ప్రైవేట్ కంపెనీలో ఉద్యోగం చేసాడు. కానీ 2008 నుంచి తన ఆసక్తి శిల్పకళ దిశగా ఉందని చేస్తున్న ఉద్యోగం మానేసి ఈ వైపు వచ్చేసాడు. అరుణ్ చెక్కిన శిల్పాల్లో ముఖ్యమైనవి కేదార్ నాథ్ లోని 12 అడుగుల ఆది శంకరాచార్య విగ్రహం. ఢిల్లీలో ఇండియా గేట్ వద్ద ఉన్న 30 అడుగుల సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్ విగ్రహం.

ఇంతవరకు మనం ఎవరూ చూడని రాముడి బాల్యపు విగ్రహాన్ని చెక్కడం పెద్ద సవాల్. ఎందుకంటే రామ్ లల్లా ఇలా ఉంటాడనే ఆధారం మన దగ్గర ఫిజికల్ గా ఏమీ లేవు. కాకపోతే లల్లా విగ్రహానికి రిఫరెన్స్1200 ఫొటోలు చూసాంఅని చెప్పాడు. బాల రాముడు అమాయకత్వాన్ని, హుందాతనాన్ని పట్టుకుని శిల్పంగా మలచడం అనేది పెద్ద బాధ్యత. రామ్ లల్లా విగ్రహం పాదాల నుంచి శిరస్సు వరకు 51 అంగుళాలు ఉంటుంది.

శ్రీరామ నవమి నాడు సూర్య కిరణాలు విగ్రహం శిరస్సు మీద పడాలి. అలాగే ఐదేండ్ల బాల రాముడిలా కనిపించాలి అనే సూచనలు అందాయట .అందుకని ఐదారేండ్ల పిల్లల ముఖంలోని అమాయకత్వాన్ని పట్టుకునేందుకు నర్సరీ స్కూల్ పిల్లలను బాగా అబ్జర్వ్ చేసాడట. రాముడిలోని అమాయకత్వం, తేజస్సును కలిపి విగ్రహం చెక్కడం ఒక ఛాలెంజ్. ఈ విగ్రహాన్ని చెక్కడం ఆరు నుంచి ఏడు నెలలు పట్టింది అని చెప్పుకొచ్చాడు.

 The seed of śākta Seva and Bhakti was sown by our Guru Shri Gajanan Baba of Shegaon in the form of the devotion and worship of Bhagwati Rajrajeshwari Lalitambika. Where ever Siddhās have their abode Bhagwati Rajrajeshwari is worshipped in one form or the other.

Shri Gajanan Maharaj Mandir is such a place. Consecrated in 1993,Shri Gajanan Maharaj a Siddha and world renowned saint from Shegaon is being worshipped in this Divine place. It was His Divine ādhesh that led us to Devi Bhakti. After 23 years of Devi upāsana it was ordained upon all of us to consecrate the Vigrah of Bhagwati Rajrajeshwari. As we set forth to find out a suitable sculptor for the same we were divinely guided to Shri Arun Yogiraj, a great sculptor and even a greater human being.

Young,energetic and having a great lineage of 5 generation in authentic āgamic vigrah sculpting Arun Yogiraj was the apt choice for sculpting the Vigrah of the Divine Mother.

After the making of the Devi Vigrah Shri Arun Yogiraj sculpted Shri Shankaracharya in Kedārnāth, Netaji Bose in India Gate and then Rām Lalla in Ayodhya to name a few.
